Thaimu has been working in the film industry since 2015 since graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Digital Media & Information Technology Program. Aspiring one day to become a cinematographer, Thaimu has been working on independent feature films, short, music videos, TV commercials, PSA’s, documentaries and an Amazon TV show. Formal trained in the art of gripping his set experience includes but not limited to Key grip, Gaffer, Camera operator & assisting, Dolly Grip and Drone pilot. Outside of work, he volunteers with The Film and Video Society of Edmonton and teaches a lighting/ grip course with them.
